Look forward to it, with GOW and Rainbow, I'll need some sedated screen wandering, the only other games that allows you to explore envs in such detail (actually, prob more) would have to be the Halo franchise.. And Morrowind - Note, not Olbivion, in Morrowind you could fly.. you can also do that in Halo with a frag :->

The costs on the PS3 might well be alot higher.. However, I'm not sure that they plan on shipping as many units over 2007, which might help ofset the loses a bit more. I feel that they'll sell more so from 2007 Xmas, at still a loss, while the 360 will prob be on profit by then..
All interesting stuff though, I wish I had a slice of that pie though.. lol

Yeah, I reckon you have a good point there.. I posted earlier saying that having free servers would encourage user based servers by the publishers.. that too might encourage hackers to run servers on hacked servers etc..
be what makes the PS3 online play more fun. Publishers will encourage users to run their servers to help reduce their cost, it might mean that the service online might not be as lag-free, but it does mean that you will get a much better server choice to connect to.
I really don't like the 360 approach where you can't select a server to play on..
This is the game that will surely drop some 'other console' jaws.

Even if they don't do as well as sony did with the PS2, they will surely be eating some profits from Sony, and Sony with their higher loss on each console.
The Xbox had a very short shelf life, i.e. Came out late and was replaced sooner. The 360 is likely to be around for a much longer period.

I stopped buying from XBLA when I returned by faulty Xbox live and found that my family can no longer play the xbox live arcade games on their profiles.. Old story, beginning to sound like a broken record. But really, my ticket is still open with Xbox support since Feb.. tut tut.
Yes, it was pretty good. My son has gone back to playing it on the 360 (he's 13).
I played the original to completion, which I've not done for many games..
